Shipping Policies and Information
Unkindness Art is a small business made up of independent artists located in Richmond, VA. We strive to provide a fast and pleasant buying experience for our customers! Please be aware of the below store policies:
- We will do our best to ship all orders out within 48 hours of purchase. Orders are shipped Mon-Fri; we cannot guarantee shipping on weekends.
- Applicable state and federal taxes are collected through Shopify at the time that your order is placed. However, for international orders, please be advised that your country may collect additional customs fees, which the buyer will be responsible for paying (DAP). Please be sure to provide accurate address information, especially for international orders, to ensure your items can be shipped in a timely manner.
- We do ship internationally to certain countries; if you do not see an option to ship to your specific country, we sincerely apologize but we are not able to ship items to you at this time. This may be due to your country's specific tax requirements, etc. Thank you for your understanding.
- You have the option to choose from a variety of shipping speeds and services. However, we are unable to guarantee the exact date of arrival of any shipment. Please also be aware that not all shipping options include tracking information, and we do not have any more tracking information on our end than the buyer does. Unkindness Art is not responsible for items that are lost in transit due to the negligence of the shipper (USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc.); shipping issues should be addressed directly with the shipper.
- Please be aware that some items may be listed as "pre-order"; these items cannot be shipped immediately. We will do our best to provide an estimated shipping window in the item's description, and will update all buyers when the item is ready to be shipped.
- If you have an issue with delivery of your order, please let us know. Although we are not responsible for delayed/missing/lost or otherwise undelivered packages, in the event that an item is not received, we will do our best to assist the buyer on a case by case basis.
- If there is an issue relating to the condition of the item you've received, please let us know within 30 days of receipt of the item and provide photos of the issue so that we can determine the best course of action to assist you. We are not able to provide refunds/replacements for damaged items after that timeframe. Additionally, we are not able to provide refunds/returns on items unless there is a documented issue with the condition of the item upon receipt. We cannot provide replacements for items that are no longer for sale in our store.
